His years in the water and electric utility industry, combined with leadership experience in Congress, provide added valuable perspective for Clyde clients from across the spectrum. Earlier in his career, Vince spent nearly 15 years as a newspaper reporter in Maryland, North Carolina, and New York. He covered three presidential elections and was a frequent guest on cable television while serving as a White House and Congressional correspondent. After transitioning to public affairs, he helped mayors, senators and congressmen with deft writing, media relations, and strategic guidance. More recently, he represented DC Water at conferences in the US and abroad.
Vince spends free time with his three teenage daughters and when they’re bored with him he hikes, kayaks, and swims or writes reviews of movies, prestige television, and books. He’s also an active volunteer with the District of Columbia public library system.
