Lara worked at the University of South Florida for almost 15 years as its director of media relations and public affairs. In this role, she created and oversaw the communications program and secured worldwide publicity for the metropolitan-based research university. She acted as the media spokesperson, handled all crisis communications, and led the media relations team in one of the top media markets in the nation.
Prior to Clyde Group, Wade acted as the director of strategic communications and media relations at Northern Virginia Community College and as the public relations director for non-profit organizations such as LifePath Hospice, Florida’s Healthy Start program and AIDS Coalition Pinellas.
Wade received her B.A. degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of South Florida in Tampa.
