John spent nearly fifteen years serving at senior levels of Congress and the Biden Administration. Most recently, he served as Senior Spokesperson at the U.S. Department of the Treasury where he led public affairs strategy on digital assets, fintech, climate finance, financial stability, domestic finance, and economic policy. He spent nearly a dozen years in Congress working for Senators Schumer and Casey. He launched Senator Schumer’s digital media strategy in 2010 and helped guide Senator Casey through successful re-elections in 2012 and 2018, serving as a Senior Advisor to his campaign in the key battleground state of Pennsylvania.
He is a proud son of Scranton, Pennsylvania where he began working on political campaigns at the age of 19 and graduated from the University of Scranton before receiving a Master’s degree in Political Management from George Washington University. He resides in the Petworth neighborhood of Washington, D.C. with his spouse, Tiffany, and his daughter. He is a long suffering Miami Dolphins fan, a grateful Pittsburgh Penguins supporter, and an ever-hopeful Washington Nationals fan who can’t stop talking about the 2019 season.
