Most recently, he was a writer and editor for NYCgo.com, the official website marketing New York City to the world, and wrote for the PR/marketing firm Mark Allen & Company, where he worked for clients like Mattel, Virgin Hotels, and Facebook. His writing specializes in identifying current cultural trends and covering the LGBTQ+ community. Brian is also an award-winning novelist and filmmaker, with two books published by Simon & Schuster and projects available on Netflix, Amazon, iTunes, and YouTube. He has also worked as a writer and producer on pilots and series for MTV, NBC, Logo, CMT, and Discovery. In 2019, he was nominated for a Writers Guild Award in the category of Short Form New Media.
Brian received his BA degree from Boston College and his MFA in film/TV at NYU. He currently resides in New York City, where he is an avid biker and theatergoer. He was born and raised in the DC area, attending St. John’s high school and spending his college summers as a tour guide on the Washington Mall and Arlington Cemetary, so he is always ready for any local trivia/history challenges!
