As part of our commitment to corporate social responsibility and giving back to our local community, Clyde Group offers the Clyde Impact program.
What is Clyde Impact?
Each year, Clyde Group will offer pro bono public relations services for a nonprofit organization that serves the Washington, D.C. area. We are able to offer PR support for up to six months on a project-basis. This offering is for nonprofits that do work to directly improve and support the Washington, D.C. region.
In 2019, we worked with SMYAL, (Supporting and Mentoring Youth Advocates and Leaders) a DC-based organization dedicated to supporting and empowering the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth in the DMV.
Executive Director of SMYAL Sultan Shakir said, “Like many nonprofits, SMYAL’s proud to be laser-focused on our mission to help LGBTQ youths in the Washington, D.C. community, providing education, health and other support services. However, we recognize the importance of sharing our great story with others to truly build a community and ensure we get the support we need to deliver the vital services we provide. Clyde Group’s message workshop and media pitching guidance have helped us better share our narrative to the public. Their new initiative – Clyde Impact – will be a great benefit to other nonprofits in the area, working to improve our community.”
