We are seeking a media relations specialist to join our growing firm—a self-starter who has established relationships with journalists and can develop new relationships on behalf of clients, turn complex subjects into concise and captivating pitches, and work across every medium.
This position will be a part of the media relations team—reporting to the Associate Vice President of Media Relations—and support our education, research, and science/tech accounts, as well as promote Clyde Group’s own visibility efforts, including executive thought leadership.
The Media Relations Specialist will support media list development/management; research, develop, and write compelling pitches, press releases, and media materials; build and enhance working relationships with the press, and monitor and advise on PR issues within the competitive media landscape to adjust positioning and outreach as necessary. The primary responsibility for this position is to cultivate, manage, and maximize media opportunities for client accounts.
