Sunny Mehta

Senior Associate

As a Senior Associate, Sunny leverages his extensive experience in government relations and communications. Utilizing his passion for policy, he handles much of the firm’s earned media and new business acquisition, while serving for clients in the financial services, education and technology sectors.

Prior to coming to Clyde Group, Sunny most recently worked at POLITICO as an Associate on the Business Development team with a specialization in cybersecurity policy. There he had a unique lens into the revolving door of politics and garnered a behind-the-scenes view into the legislative process and more important gained an insider understanding of how the media operates.

Earlier in his career, Sunny worked for Senator Roy Blunt’s office and Mitt Romney’s 2012 Presidential campaign, and he successfully guided the campaign proposal to renovate the world-famous St. Louis Arch. Upon graduation, he served as an Americorps member by teaching first grade at Stanton Elementary School in Southeast Washington, D.C.

Sunny completed his undergraduate work in political science at Washington University in St. Louis.
