As a director, Shannon leverages extensive experience in global public relations and strategic communications to serve Clyde Group’s portfolio across health, technology and education.
In her role, Shannon leads teams in coalition building, government relations, community engagement, media outreach, and message and brand development. She’s played an integral role in managing the national launch of the All of Us Research Program, funded by the National Institutes of Health. Her work across program strategy, messaging and media outreach seeks to engage one million or more individuals in finding new ways to improve health and treat disease based on individual lifestyles.
Prior to joining Clyde Group, Shannon worked at Burson-Marsteller to support branded and unbranded work for global pharmaceutical companies. While with Burson, Shannon was instrumental in supporting Medtronic in reaching data milestones for five global clinical trials published in The New England Journal of Medicine and the subsequent revision of the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s stroke treatment guidelines to include stent retriever technology.
Shannon holds a Master of Communications from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications, public relations from James Madison University.
