Ryan Myers joins Clyde Group with a background in political communication and a specialization in speechwriting. In that capacity alone he’s done work for representatives, rock stars and everyone in between. At Clyde Group he puts that background to work as an account lead for clients focused on education and social change like the Nonprofit Finance Fund.
His press and communications experience ranges from policy-focused work on the Senate Budget Committee, to political work for congressional campaigns, to projects for corporate and nonprofit clients with Lehrman Communications. His unique experience writing high quality oratory for high-profile individuals includes campaign victory speeches, eulogies for esteemed statesmen and even commencements for international superstars. Prior to joining Clyde Group, Ryan was at West Wing Writers where he developed a skill for making austere issues more accessible, complex solutions more comprehensible and making sure good ideas always had great explanations.
At Clyde Group, Myers serves as the firm’s humble “Writer-in-Chief” tackling projects of an almost limitless variety—surveys, focus group scripts, new business proposals, internal memos, public speeches, and high profile opeds to name a few. He applies his keen eye not only to fine tuning word-by-word details but providing mile-high analysis to organize larger, longer-term projects like campaign communications or crisis management plans as well.
Born and bred a Hoosier, Myers lives in D.C. but still calls Indianapolis home. He graduated from Indiana University with a degree in speechwriting and communications.
