UN Foundation

UN-foundationLeading up to the release of the United Nations’ announcement of the UN’s new Standards of Conduct for Business to Tackle Discrimination against Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Trans & Intersex People, the UN Foundation tapped Clyde Group to design and implement a media relations & communications strategy to launch the new Standards and bring awareness to this important milestone.

Clyde Group led the charge for the Standards of Conduct launch event in New York City. This included engaging top-tier and trade media, securing multiple placements across diverse outlets both ahead of and following the launch, we created a social media tool kit, assisted in message development and organized a Facebook Live which ran throughout the event.

Clyde Group’s efforts supported early adopters of the business standards, such as Spotify, Deutsche Bank and Ernst & Young. Our efforts led to a successful launch, resulted in greater media placement and increased awareness of the new international standards – a core milestone which now lives as a vital moment in the history of the equality movement.

CAF America

CAF AmericaThe Charities Aid Foundation of America (CAF America) engaged Clyde Group to lead media relations and promote their annual World Giving Index.

The World Giving Index provides a “global view on giving trends” that explores questions defining charitable behavior across the world.

Strategically planning media engagement around the release of the report, Clyde Group’s comprehensive media outreach resulted in an overwhelming number of top tier media placements in publications such as NPR, CNN, The Financial Times, The Guardian, HuffPost and MarketWatch, among others.

Building on our success, Clyde Group was brought on to support a variety of other communications activities such as CAF America internal communications and ongoing strategic engagement.

Our team also led media relations efforts driven by CAF America’s new partnership with the China Global Philanthropy Institute, a partnership established in order to create charitable foundations throughout China.
